Everything has an opposite. It's the natural law of our world. A light to every dark, a good to every bad, a positive to every negative. Newton's Third Law of Motion states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The same law applies for not only motion, but beings. If you are unwilling to accept that then I don't suggest you read further.
Given said law, that beings are also bound by that law, what about places? More specificlly, what about Heaven? It DOES have an opposite: Hell. However those worlds are not existant in our world. So why are they bound by OUR laws? Could it be possible that the figuritive sayings "Gates of Heaven" or "Gates of Hell" be more than a saying? Possibly literal, even?
If I were to dive into the last book of the bible it states the ground will split and Hell's demons will run rampant. Also note that Hell is always reffered to as "below." Is this a prediction of the literal gates opening? One would imagine an enormous amount of energy would be needed to open something all but metaphysical.
Or maybe this has been an action that was put in place long long ago?
On the other side of that coin, wouldn't that mean Heaven has a gate here in our world? It also says in Revelations that when Christ returns he will be known by all. So possibly when he opens that gate it links the world of Heaven to ours, that somehow making us understand who he is without a question.
In conclusion, I theorize that Heaven and Hell are both linked to our world via not figurative but literal gates. The next journey will be to find those gates.
